Protected By Law

Today I want to talk about the importance of protecting the right to transition for individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Transitioning is not just a medical process, but a deeply personal and often life-saving journey for many people. It is a pursuit of happiness, a fundamental human right that should be protected and respected by law.      First and foremost, transitioning is about aligning one's physical body with their gender identity. For many transgender and non-binary individuals, this process is essential for their mental health and well-being. It allows them to live authentically and be true to themselves, which is crucial for their overall happiness and quality of life.      Furthermore, transitioning is a form of self-expression and empowerment. It allows individuals to outwardly reflect who they truly are on the inside, and to live their lives in a way that feels genuine and fulfilling. By denying someone the right to transiti...

DEI - The Big Lie, And How It Will Hurt You

I have to start this post with an admission:  I kept seeing DEI everywhere, but I didn't have a clue what it meant.  Yes, I had to "Google" it.  When the next page loaded, I saw the inherent danger to my country, immediately.     Now, I've already told you that I put my country's interests ahead of my personal interests, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that I'm concerned with what this very skewed philosophy means to this land.  In the past, I've let it be known in other venues that I am not concerned about the emotions of others anywhere near as much as I care about their intellect and intelligence.  I'll explain in a separate post why your intellect and intelligence is vastly, VASTLY, VASTLY more important than your emotions.  However, I can pretty nearly guarantee that you won't like it, and you probably won't accept it.     Back to the matter of DEI, though.  I think it's important to break down the philosophy...

Enjoy the Pursuit

    * Written with the use of AI.      Today I want to talk about transitioning as a pursuit of happiness for individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Transitioning is a deeply personal and often challenging journey that many transgender and non-binary individuals embark on in order to align their outward appearance with their inner sense of self. It is a process of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and ultimately, self-love.      For many people, transitioning is not just about changing their physical appearance, but also about finding peace and happiness within themselves. It is about living authentically and being true to who they are, despite societal expectations and norms. Transitioning allows individuals to express their gender identity in a way that feels right for them, and in doing so, they are able to live more fully and freely.      Transitioning can bring about a sense of empowerment and liberation that is truly transformati...

Stand Up, Speak Up

I started this blog to write about issues.  Not only about my issues, but also about our issues.  Issues that threaten the LGBTQ+ community in general, and issues that threaten the Trans community in particular.  These issues primarily come from the Right, who wrongly call themselves Conservatives.  They bunch their religious ideologies in with their political ideologies.  If we lived in a Christian theocracy their religio-political ideologies would, in fact, be correct.  However, we live in a constitutional republic, which is something they like to point out.  (No, we don't live in a democracy, like Liberals constantly lie to us about.)  And in this constitutional republic we have rights.  The First Amendment guarantees five of our protected rights, one of which is religious freedom.  Said right negates the Right-wing fantasy of a Christian theocracy.  What this means is that, although we have a right to express...

Reasoning

I woke up this morning at one o'clock and, try as I might, I could not go back to sleep.  As I laid there, my mind filled with thoughts about my transition, up to this point.  As I thought, I remembered all the hateful things I've seen and heard said about the trans community, that has now spilled over to the entirety of the LGBTQ+ community.  We're losing hard won ground rather than gaining more and when I tell you what I see as the reason, other community members and supporters may be unhappy with me, and may even come to hate me.  I can live with that, but what I refuse to do is sit quietly by while the selfish few do harm to the community, and the community sits on its collective laurels in misguided loyalty to co-members of the community and/or unnecessary obedience to some supposed leadership.     The selfish few I refer to are those trans-women who have put themselves and their own interests above those of their community.  ...
