GOP Illegality Toward the Transgender Community

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all... are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.     Those sacred words come from America's Declaration of Independence from Great Britain.  The United States' founding fathers understood that in order for people to thrive it was necessary for them to have the freedom to pursue happiness.  Founding father, Benjamin Franklin is credited with the quote, "The Constitution guarantees you the right to pursue happiness.  You have to catch it yourself."  But, how are the people expected to pursue happiness and to thrive when Congress blocks the very avenues needed for such pursuit?      Where transgender people are concerned, Republicans are either ignoring the truth, or they are ignorant of the truth.  That truth is that gender identity is a natural part of the human exper...

The Inside Person

I remember a time when it was sound advice to tell someone experiencing a personal conflict to "listen to your inner person."  Whatever happened to that kind of advice?  I'll tell you what happened to it.  Trans people decided to pay attention to what their inner person was telling them and live in accordance to that.  All of a sudden, armchair psychologists began springing up everywhere, including the White House, telling transgender people that they're mentally ill for listening to the person they are on the inside.  You know... the person with the answers.  These people can be male or female, but mostly their male.  In either case, however, I call these people cissies.  I define a cissy as a cis gender person who lacks the combined intellectual and emotional maturity to allow trans people to live freely.     I've been told that I shouldn't make such statements, though.  They say it'll only make cissies angrie...

It's Your Fault... Own It!

Let's be clear and honest about this:  Transgender people didn't ask to be trans any more than left-handed people asked to be left-handed.  This is no less natural than left-handedness.  Once upon a time, left-handed people were treated with the same angst and prejudice that trans people are facing today.  Back then, the hatefulness (let's stop with the self-deception... it IS hate) probably caused many a good left-handed person to experience depression, even commit suicide.  That was your predecessor's fault.  In time, it was eventually realized that there was nothing wrong with people who wrote, ate and just conducted general behaviors with a left-handed dominance.     Fast forward to now...  It has FINALLY been realized by the general medical and psychological communities that what turned out to be true for the left-handed community is also true for the transgender community.  This is not a known fact, however, be...

Point of View

"A man can't be a woman, and a woman can't be a man."     True... but, a man might be a trans woman, and a woman might be a trans man.      My point of view probably won't be popular with many of my trans siblings, and it sure as hell won't be popular with cis gender folks who are anti-trans.  That's okay!  One of the good things I learned from my father is to not be overly concerned with what others think and/or feel about me.  That will limit, greatly perhaps, the amount of support I'll receive from the trans community, but that's fine.  It also leaves me free to say what I think.  When a person concerns themselves first with the opinions of others, they put those others in control of their life.  Right now, the trans community is having to fight all around the world for our freedom to be ourselves.  That fight is meaningless if we're going to try and control one another.     I have both seen and...

Honesty... Should It Be Withheld?

President Trump and the GOP make trans people out to be violent and mentally ill.  Facts, however, do not support their claims.  If they were honest about the trans community it would still be a mark against us, but it wouldn't have the effect they're hoping for.  The first truth that they don't want to be widely known is that the American Psychological Association has determined that, while we do face challenges, trans people are not  mentally ill.  The second truth they're covering is that data shows trans people are more likely to be the victims of violent crimes, rather than the perpetrators of said crimes.     The key to defeating   them in this is to present the truth.  That truth can be easily found doing a simple internet search.  For instance, enter into your search bar, "What does the American Psychological Association say about being transgender?"  You'll find a plethora of information, such as the APA'...

We Gotta Fight for Our Right (to be Trans)

In the 80's, the Beastie Boys were telling young people they had to fight for their right to party.  Here we are, about 40 years later, and nobody's really concerned about their right to party.  However, there is a supposedly protected class of people (transgenders) who have to fight for their right to exist... to be trans.  We shouldn't have to fight for this right, but self-important people (Donald Trump, Nancy Mace, Marjorie Taylor Greene, etc...) are trying to wipe us out of existence.  I mean... they're not trying to out-and-out murder us, but they might as well be.  After all, if your actions result in the deaths of others, are you not supposedly responsible for their deaths?     How many times has it got to be said that if psychologists are saying there's no mental illness involved, that our sense of self simply doesn't match our bodies, that it's a state of being and can be treated through transition, why are they arguing t...

Republicans Are... What They Claim Democrats to Be

Republicans have long claimed that Democrats are, among other things, hypocrites and non-intellectual. Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina is not only providing proof that Republicans have their own hypocrisies, she has proposed a bill that has encouraged Republican voters to come out of the shadows and present themselves as hypocrites and non-intellectual, as well.      When self-declared transwoman, Sarah McBride was elected to Congress, snowflake Republican representative, Nancy Mace was triggered and immediately presented a bill to keep transgender women out of all of the restrooms in the capital's government buildings. That bill, however, is challenged merely by the fact that for several decades scientists, doctors and judges have agreed that individuals can change their sex but presented no clear answer as to how this could or should be accomplished.      The argument of one's chromosomes has long since been refuted due to th...
