Venting

I really need to vent!  I apologize if a post concerning faith isn't for you, but you may actually take something away from this that you wouldn't expect if you have the gall to stay and read it through.  A lot of people in the LGBTQ+ community have, sadly, turned away from God, thinking God is against them.  But, friends, God is no more against you than He is anyone else you will ever meet.  I know, "Christians" will say, "the Bible says..."  I don't give a good crap what the Bible says about our sexualities.  What I do care about is the individual souls of each and every one of us!  Not just LGBTQ+, but EVERYONE!  You have to take what the Bible says with a grain of salt, because (gasp) the Bible is NOT the ACTUAL word of God.  It is the INSPIRED word of God; meaning it was inspired by man's ideals of God.  The men who wrote the Bible told us what they believed was godly in their opinions.  However, that doesn't make it true.

Now, if we were living in the Middle Ages, that last sentence would get me burned alive for heresy.  But, I don't think most Christians fully believe everything in the Bible, although they claim otherwise.  If they did, you wouldn't see an out of shape Christian, or a sick one... or one who overeats.  So, don't worry about what those self-righteous busy-bodies say; their basically virtue signaling

The reason for writing this is because some asshat told my friend, Susan, that since she has tattoos, she can't go to Heaven.  That caused Susan's faith to falter a bit.  Which, in turn, means that asshat doesn't get to go, either.  You see, in Luke chapter 17, Jesus told his disciples that there will always be instances that cause your faith to falter, but that the person who causes another to stumble will face judgement.  So, all of those Christ-like wannabes...  Yeah, don't worry about them; they're not going anywhere.  So, go ahead and live your best life, but consider living it for God and watch the self-righteous melt down.  It'll be kind of like God getting revenge for you!
